2. That the applicant is an innocent man and has been falsely implicated in the present matter.

3. That the passport of the applicant/accused bearing no.  <PASSPORT NUMBER> has been expired on XX.XX.20XX. Copy of the passport is annexed herewith for your kind perusal, and the accused herein wanted to get his passport renew.

4. That therefore, as per the mandate of the Passport Authority of India, in case of any criminal proceeding has been initiated against any applicant, then the passport can only be renewed subject to issuance of no objection from the designated court where such criminal matter is pending.

Due to the nature of his professional responsibilities and for career growth, the applicant is required to undertake official travel to various foreign countries from time to time.
